Seller Comments: Produced in 1997, this 90 min documentary was professionally produced, with much research for the programme undertaken by myself. Filmed on location in Cambridgeshire and at the U.S. 91st reunion, the story unfolds of how the 91st moved to Bassingbourne, Cambridgeshire ~ The country club of the Eighth Air Force and widely recognised as the best UK posting in the USAAF. Includes lengthy interviews with veterans and locals, including the (then) surviving crew of the Memphis Belle. Most of the Veterans in this documentary have since passed-on, but their heroic deeds live on, thanks to 'Memories of the 91st Bomb Group' ~ available in both PAL and American NTSC format. We thought all these video's were long sold out, but a limited number were recently discovered when the producer moved house and found a sealed and unopened box of tapes.
